Definitions -
ICICI Bank Credit Cards Visa Bill Pay Service (or 'the Service') refers to the Bill Presentment and/or Payment Service and other services that may be offered from time to time by ICICI Bank Credit Cards Visa Bill Pay in contract with Visa for use by Card holders with ICICI Bank Branded credit cards.

User(s) refers to the eligible customer(s) of the Visa Bill Pay Service.

Biller refers to the person or entity who may present to the User some or all the details of the bill through the Service and/or also accepts payments made by the User through the Service.

Business Day means Monday through Friday, excluding Banking holidays and other public holidays.

Visa Card or Visa Credit Card means a credit card issued with the Visa brand on it, by Visa members and non-member licencees.

Credit Card or Card means a current and valid Visa branded credit card in Your name, or which You are lawfully authorised by the Cardholder to use.

Due Date refers to the date by which the Biller should receive the payment of the bill.

Login ID means the login identity selected by the User during registration to personalise their Identification as a registered User. The Login ID must be used to access and use Visa Bill Pay as a registered User.

Payment Date refers to the date the Biller actually receives the payment of the bill after due processing of the Payment Instruction set up by a User.

Payment Instruction refers to instruction given by the User using the Visa Bill Pay Service for effecting payments to Biller.

We, Us, Our, and Visa Bill Pay are terms, which refer to the Visa Bill Pay Service.

You, Your and Yours refer to each person who uses Visa Bill Pay either by registering to use the Service or otherwise.

This service is available ONLY on ICICI BANK MASTER/VISA Credit Cards Only.All private label cards, ICICI Bank Amex Credit Cards, credit cards utilised issued by banks other than ICICI Bank and any other form of an ICICI Bank card other than a valid ICICI Bank Master/Visa credit card are prohibited from using this service.

In order to use the ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay Service you must be an individual of at least 18 years of age who can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law or a corporation, trust, association of persons or firm which can enter into legally binding contracts under applicable law. In case of a corporation, trust, association of persons or a firm, You must be authorised to agree to the Rules and to access, use and avail of the Visa Bill Pay Service. If You do not qualify, please do not use the ICICI Bank Credit Cards Visa Bill Pay Service.

If you are not a Resident Indian, you may use and avail of the ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay Service only to the extent that the laws of India and those of your country permit you to do so. Further, your use of the Service is based on the understanding and agreement that by accessing and using the Service, you may be violating the local laws in India and/or your country. You agree that you will be solely and absolutely liable for any liability incurred by you in this regard and you will indemnify ICICI Bank and/or its Service Partner against any liability incurred by them in this regard.
Payments that You can make through this service include payments towards:
Telephone - landline companies
Telephone – cellular companies
Electricity companies
Gas Companies
Insurance companies
Other utility services that may be added
 
The latest list of organisations whose bills can be paid using ICICI Bank Credit Cards Visa Bill Pay will be available on a call to the customer service center.

Currently ICICI bank does not charge any transactions fees for lifetime for availing the autodebit bill pay service. However, ICICI Bank reserves the right to charge and recover from the User, fees for availing the Service.

The Visa Bill Pay fees may be revised by from time to time as decided by Visa. These changes shall be effective from the time they are posted on to the Visa Bill Pay website.
Service use obligations
In using the Visa Bill Pay Service, you agree to:
 
(a)
Provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself ("Registration Data"), your Credit Card details ("Payment Data"), your Biller details ("Biller Data") and
(b)
Maintain and promptly update the Registration Data, Payment Data and Biller Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Visa Bill Pay has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Visa Bill Pay has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Service (or any portion thereof).
It shall solely be your responsibility to make the payment of your bill(s) well in advance of the Bill Due Date so that Visa Bill Pay has sufficient time to process your Payment Instruction(s) and make the funds available to the relevant Biller(s) by the Payment Date. If the Payment Date happens to be after the Due Date, you shall be liable to pay the delayed/late charges and/or for all other consequences as per the then existing policy of the Biller(s). ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay assumes no responsibility and shall incur no liability if it is unable to effect any Payment Instruction(s) on the Payment Date owing to any one or more of the following circumstances:
If the Payment Instruction(s) issued by you is/are incomplete, inaccurate, invalid or delayed
If your card account has insufficient funds/limits to cover for the amount as mentioned in the Payment Instruction(s)
If the funds available in the Payment Account are under any encumbrance or charge.
If the Card is not valid for transactions in any nature for any other reason.
Circumstances beyond the control of ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay (including, but not limited to, fire, flood, earthquakes, natural disasters, bank strikes, power failures, systems failure like computer or telephone lines breakdown due to an unforeseeable cause or interference from an outside force).
If ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay fails to effect the Payment Instructions on/before the Payment Date for any reason other than the reasons mentioned above and such failure is directly and solely attributable to ICICI Bank Credit Card, then in such an event, the liability of Visa Bill Pay shall be restricted to late payment charges, if any, subject to the maximum of Rs 500/- per bill. Under no circumstances shall Visa and/or its Service Partner and/or any of their respective officers, directors, employees or agents shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, even if advised of the possibility of those damages except to the extent as mentioned above. Notwithstanding anything stated elsewhere in the Rules, ICICI Bank Credit Card shall be entitled, in its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse to comply with all or any of your instructions without assigning any reason.
Authority to Charge Card Account
When You initiate a bill payment transaction and/or issue a Payment Instruction and provide ICICI Bank Credit Card Visa Bill Pay with Your Card details:
 
You warrant that Your fully and lawfully entitled use such Credit Card for such transactions
You are responsible to ensure that the Card and payment instruction details provided by You are accurate
The funds available in the Payment Account are not under any encumbrance or charge and are sufficient to execute the instruction
General Information
1. The liability of ICICI Bank Credit cards is restricted to paying the bill provided to us by the service provider (also referred to as 'biller') by charging your credit card
2. All disputes pertaining to the amount paid on the bill, timing of upload of the bill, updation of the payment at the billers system should be taken up with the biller directly. However, we will assist where we can in managing the disputes with the biller.
3. Any bill payment under this scheme is subject to limitations of the customers credit card. Hence if your credit card is not authorised for payment for any reason, then the responsibility of payment to the biller to avoid late payment or disconnection is the customers.
4. The customer is required to stop payment atleast 6 days before the due date of the service providers bill. Payments will be effected on the 5th day before the due date of the service providers bill. In case of holidays coming together, the bills may be processed earlier.
5. If the customer is enrolled (details entered into the Bill Pay system) before the 22nd of month1, he will be registered for billing cycles after the 1st of month2 subject to biller confirmation of the details provided. In case the customer has been registered after the 22nd of month1, he will be registered for billing cycles after the 1st of month3 subject to biller confirmation of the details provided
