What is the Utility Bill Payment service provided by SBI Card? 
SBI Credit Cardholders can pay their utility bills using their SBI Credit Cards for over 200 billers in below categories

Mobile Service Providers

Fixed Landline Telephones

Electricity Bills

Insurance premium

Top-up & recharge- Prepaid mobile, DTH services & Data Cards

How can I use this service?  
SBI Credit Cardholders can use this service in following ways-

    Auto Pay - Register your bills once and set auto pay instruction to ensure timely bill payments

        After the one time registration of the biller, cardholders will receive alerts whenever the bill amount & due date is provided and uploaded                 by the registered biller and bill will be paid automatically through their SBI Credit Card every month before the due date.

        The bill amount will be debited from credit card 5 days before due date.

    Easy Bill Pay - Register once and make payments as per your convenience

        Cardholders can register a biller and log on to the portal every time they need to make a payment.

        The payment will be credited to the biller within 2-3 working days of the transaction.

    Top Up & Recharges - Recharge you mobile, DTH & Data Card on the go

        Cardholders can top up & recharge their Pre-paid mobile, DTH &DataCard instantly using their SBI Card. To use this service click on the                 'Instant Payment' tab on the left navigation bar

    Pay Fast - Make one time payment to a range of billers without having to register them

        Cardholders can enter the bill details and make a one-time payment using their SBI Credit Card.

        The bill details are not saved in the system. If the cardholder needs to make a payment for the same biller again, they would need to enter                 the biller details again.

        To use this service click on the 'Instant Payment' tab on the left navigation bar

Are there any charges for this service? 
It's a free of charge service. However, for certain category of billers (Cat2 billers), a convenience charge of up to 1.82% plus Govt. GST of the transaction amount is levied. Please note, the registration for the online bill payment service for the Cat2 billers remains free of cost.

Can anAutoPaylimit be set? 
Yes. There is an option of assigning a predefined limit for each biller in case of Auto Bill Pay registration through which only if the bill amount is within the limit set, the bill will be paid.

Please note that in case the bill amount exceeds the limit set, the payment of same will be declined and cardholder needs to ensure payment of same to Biller.
How soon after biller registration can I make the payment? 
You can start making the payment after the registration has been successfully validated by the biller. You will be sent an SMS/ e-mail confirmation on whether the registration has been successfully validated or rejected by the biller.

On successful validation by the biller, payments for billers registered for Auto Bill Pay will be made from the next billing cycle while for 'Eas7y Bill Pay' billers, you can make a payment after successful validation.

Please note, the time taken for validation of a registered bill varies from biller to biller and is the sole responsibility of the said biller.

Once I pay the bill,when will my account get debited and when will the utility company receive my payment? 
On payment of the bill, your account will get immediately debited online and the payment is sent to the utility company by the next working day. The same will get credited to your utility account in 3 working days time.
Once I have set the Auto Pay, how will I get to know if the payment has been made?  
A registered Cardholder will be get SMS and email notifications at every step of bill payment cycle

What proof of payment do I have once I have paid through this Easy Bill Pay service 
When your payment has been successfully made, you get a reference number for your transaction.Your credit card account statement will also include the details of your transaction.This amount will be inclusive of the convenience charge charged for each transaction.
Is this a secure way of making utility payments? 
SBI Card uses Secure Socket Layers (SSL) data encryption.Using SSL ensures that the information you exchange with SBI Card is never transmitted over the Internet unencrypted and cannot be viewed by unauthorized individuals.SBI Card uses SSL to protect users from unauthorized tampering or viewing of their account and billing information.In addition your credit card information is processed over secure gateways that are certified by Visa and Mastercard
How do I Stop/Cancel Auto Pay payment? 
To Stop an AutoPay Bill, click on 'Biller Management' in left navigation bar. Then select 'Schedule Bills'. Bills scheduled for AutoPay will appear here. Please note that AutoPay bills can be stopped only if request is initiated before the cutoff date (i.e. prior to 5 days before bill due date)

AutopayCancellation : Go to 'Set Auto Pay' link on left navigation bar. Bills set for AutoPay will appear here. Use Delete option to cancel AutoPay
Is there a limit on no. of Auto Payinstructions that I can set? 
No there is no limit to the number of Auto pay bills registered
Can I set Auto Pay on all billers?  
There is list of Registered Billers; one can choose any number of Billers from the list.
For Easy Bill Pay, by when should I pay my bills? 
To ensure that your payments arrive before due date and to avoid late payment charges, you need to make your payment at least 3 working days before the bill due date.
How do I stop a payment after it has been made? 
SBI Card has no way to stop a payment after it has been processed. You should contact your biller.
What happens if I do not have enough credit limit on my card to paythe bills? 
In case of insufficient credit limit in your card account resulting in a failed debit, SBI Cards will notify customer through email/SMS Alerts

Also, in case the debit can be taken care of with Over Limit that the SBI Card entitles him, the Debit will happen and the Card Account will be charged the Over limit Charges.
What are the risks I should be aware of? 
SBI Cards shall incur no liabilitybecause of the existence of any one or more of the following circumstances:

    If the Credit Card Account does not contain sufficient funds to cover for payment of the respective bill or the bill amount exceeds the             available credit limit.

    Biller fails to upload Bill details, uploaded bill details are necessary for the processing of the payment

    The name of Biller and/or details required for effecting the payment are not correctly provided by the Cardholder

    The Cardholder is also responsible for the accuracy and authenticity of the Payment Instructions provided to SBI Cards and the same shall be             considered to be sufficient to effect the payment.

    The Cardholder shall be entitled to cancel or modify the Payment Instructions in the manner provided by SBI Cards at least 5 days before the             Payment Due date of the respective Biller

    In case of Third Party registrations done by cardholder, the liability of same rests with the cardholder

    Any dispute between the Cardholder and the Biller will be the responsibility of the Cardholder and SBI Cards will debit Cardholder's account             for the payment amount due as informed by the Biller.

    Registration is subject to the validation of the given details by the biller.
